Why we don’t use 4g/5g for events!

4G and 5G rely on public mobile networks that are shared with everyone in the area. At events, thousands of devices connect at once, causing congestion, slow speeds, and unreliable performance.

    Mobile network speeds fluctuate constantly depending on crowd size, local usage, and signal strength. This makes it difficult to guarantee consistent connectivity during peak event times.

  • No Guaranteed Bandwidth
    With 4G and 5G, bandwidth is not dedicated to your event. Even if speeds test well during setup, performance can drop dramatically once the event opens to the public.

  • Limited Control & Visibility
    Public mobile networks offer little control over traffic prioritisation, security, or performance monitoring—making it harder to manage critical event operations.

  • Higher Risk for Mission-Critical Use
